My world is somewhat turned on its ear this week. But after a plain awful September, I am recommitted to the true spirit of Picture a Day.
Over the weekend, Joe cleaned off my harddrive, installed Tiger and Photoshop CS so no more farting around in 9.2 and my clunker Photoshop 5.5. Yay! Thus, the recommit. But if I only had CS2 (ruminate. ruminate.) I could import my RAW files directly off the Canon into Photoshop. (grumble. plot.)
But the big news there is, even more independence for me! I found and mounted my own drivers for my scanner and graphics pad, all by myself, like I was all grown up, got all my files in order, cleaned off the slave, imported all my bookmarks, all by myself, like a grown up....
Can balancing my checkbook be far behind?
like my therapist reminded me last week, Nancy? You had all the skills you needed to do this in the third grade -- addition and subtraction. (I'd throw in that smy handiness with a hammer and a power drill isn't going to hurt me.) I'm protected by a tag team of hyperactive canine light sleepers and for just about anything else I can't handle I can cope, write a check or make a mean pie.
It just might not be pretty. But it will work.
It just might not be pretty. But it will work. The DoggieS Dive Photo should be in a contest, Beautiful.
