No photos today although I'm still taking credit for not breaking the picture a day habit by posting the logos I worked on all day. Not that it should have taken THAT long, except for the finally sorta learning Illustrator part. (shows..don't it.)
I'm kind of fond of the one above because the phoenix looks like its a little nuts, in a good way.
This one comes off a bit too Homeland Security for my taste, but it does get points for balanced, simple and totally socialist!
I made up this one out of an inspirational image Huiqing sent me.
Speaking of Huiqing, since he got back from CGEU he's on fire. So is the rest of the crew and the fire is spreading. So much more so appropriate the phoenix, which is a very famous symbol in China for all sorts of good stuff like goodwill, harmony and beauty...and when the phoenix appears? Regeneration!
I like #1 the best; it has that old-school socialist feel. Victory to the Workers! Down with Fascism! Onward to the Revolution!

Awesome! I love Union imagery almost as much as Marxist imagery, as evidenced by GEU's new logo: http://geuatmsu.org/media/solid_geu_800.gif

the other cool thing about the first one is that the phoenix on it resembles the phoenix on the Harry Potter book :)
